- A policy is created for Exchange that creates Envelope Journals
- A copy of all incoming and outgoing user emails is created in the Journal.
- The Journal is regularly transmitted and archived to our secure data centres.
- Journal entries may be purged, but the Vault archive is not affected
- The Vault archive may be viewed and searched via a secure browser

Opality is sold through a n etwork of reselling partners, so prices vary. Typically mail archiving costs £8 per mailbox per month including 1Gb or storage. Extra storage is typically £3 per Gb per mailbox per month.
